Founded by husband-and-wife duo Steven and Lindsay Petrosky, Blanco River Construction is built on a shared passion for timeless design, proven methods, and the art of homebuilding. With 25 years of combined experience in architecture, design, and construction, they bring a unique, collaborative approach to every project—blending visionary design with enduring quality.

Steven, a Texas-native, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University. After several years of being a project manager for high-profile commercial projects in Downtown Austin, Steven decided to shift gears and focus on building his community by starting his own residential firm. Steven’s expertise in project management ensures clear communication, transparency, exceptional quality control, and unwavering professionalism all while focusing on structural integrity, precision craftsmanship, and the use of natural, high-quality materials.

Lindsay earned a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Texas State University, with a focus on construction drafting. Lindsay worked for an Austin Architect Firm for several years designing bespoke residences in Historic Austin neighborhoods that seamlessly blended modern livability with the character of the area. Before starting Blanco River Construction, her firm and contributing work on The Darnall House was featured in the 2017 AIA Homes Tour.

Together, Steven and Lindsay lead with a hands-on approach, ensuring each home they build is not only beautiful but built to endure for generations.
