How We Build: Step-by-Step

1. Planning and Pre-Construction:  (BRC AND PARTNERS)

  • Assessment: Define your desired outcome, budget, and timeline. 

  • Team Assembly: Engage a reputable builder who can recommend an architect and interior designer. 

  • Funding: Secure necessary funding for the project. 

  • Contract Negotiation: Finalize the contract with the builder, outlining the scope of work, budget, and timelines. 

2. Design Phase:  (PARTNERS)

  • Design Development: Collaborate with the architect to develop comprehensive plans, including floor plans, elevations, and detailed specifications.

  • Material Selection: Work with an Interior Designer to choose finishes that align with your vision.

  • Design Review: Review the design plans and make necessary adjustments until you are satisfied. 

3. Construction Phase:  (WHERE BRC STEPS IN)

  • Permits and Approvals: (IF NEEDED) Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities. 

  • Site Preparation: Clear and grade the site, lay out building location, and install underground utilities.

  • Foundation and Framing: Build the foundation, frame and waterproof the structure.

  • Rough-in Systems: Install rough plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

  • Interiors: Install insulation and wall materials to create interior walls. 

  • HVAC - install main conditioning system for the home.

  • Finishes: Install flooring, cabinetry, tile, and other interior finishes like lighting, fixtures, and appliances. 

  • Landscaping: Add landscaping elements to enhance the exterior of the home. 

  • Final Inspections: Conduct final inspections to ensure all work meets code requirements. 

  • Move-In: Prepare the home for occupancy and finalize the project.
